Profile
Tim grew up in Sydney and studied his medical degree at the University of Sydney (1998, Honours Class 2)
He has worked on the Central Coast for over 20 years, undertaking his early training years at Gosford and Wyong hospitals.
He completed General Practice Training in northern NSW and obtained the Fellowship for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2003.
Tim’s further qualifications and experience includes:
– Rumginae Christian Mission Hospital, Papua New Guinea (2003 – 2004)
– Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG 2005)
– Palliative Care skills training (2009)
– Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine (2012)
– Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Surgery (2013)
– Appointed as Visiting Medical Officer at Long Jetty Hospital since 2010
Tim has worked at Bateau Bay Medical Centre since 2005. His working interests include family medicine at all stages of life, aged care, musculoskeletal medicine and skin cancer.
Tim is married to Dawn, and they have three daughters. He is a member of EV Church at Erina. He loves living on the Central Coast. When time permits, he enjoys trail running, ocean swimming, and toasting marshmallows on the glowing embers of a winter’s night bonfire.
